SINTEF’s strategic focus area on biodiversity and area use invite you to a webinar together with the Norwegian Environment Agency, University of Tromsø, University of Oslo, and NINA, where Norwegian authors and fellows will share their experiences including how and why to apply, what their role entails, and how it has impacted their careers.

  • Date: Tuesday 11th March
  • Time: 9-10 AM

The UN’s Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services, or IPBES, is an independent body of scientists that are working to strengthen the science-policy interface by collating information on biodiversity. It is adjacent to the IPCC.

IPBES creates reports on different topics, and for these they need experts from many fields of research and from all over the world. Right now they are looking for experts and fellows (early-career scientists) for their next report, “the second global assessment of biodiversity and ecosystem services”. Maybe you are interested in applying?
