Cristin and BORA will be closed in June 2025 and replaced by the Norwegian research information repository (NVA). NVA is being developed and operated by Sikt: https://nva.sikt.no/
Content from Cristin and BORA will be transferred to NVA. Once Cristin and BORA have been fully transferred, UiB employees will get access to register and edit their publications in NVA. This is expected to happen in June/July, and the exact date will be announced on the website: https://www.uib.no/ub/172729/nva
Some practical implications of the transition to NVA:
- Login to NVA is done via Feide, and everyone with Feide from UiB can log in. It will also be possible to log in using ID-porten.
- All academic staff who have editing access to Cristin will automatically have editing access to NVA.
- New publications and results from researchers must be registered in NVA after the transition. Full texts of publications to be made available should be uploaded to NVA.
- Reporting of results (NVI) will be conducted in NVA.
- Publications displayed on profile pages on uib.no will be retrieved from NVA.
- Stable/permanent links to BORA entries will still function.
