PhD candidate Ruben Thormodsæter is one of the candidates for this year’s Forsker Grand Prix

“When we spread the assessments evenly over the semester, the exam becomes less scary. It reduces test anxiety and gives students better opportunities to show what they can do,” says research fellow Ruben Schelbred Thormodsæter. Photo/ill.: Kristine Gabrielsen

His contribution is about research on test anxiety among science students in Norway and whether some groups stand out.

He is competing with nine other researchers. Each has four minutes to convince them that they are the winner.

It all takes place on September 17th in Mimes Brønn at the University College of Western Norway.
