New Application Period for Welfare Cabins – Winter 2026

You can now apply for your preferred period at the welfare cabins for winter 2026, covering the period from January 4 to April 9: Velferdshytter
Please note: There are separate application forms for the winter holiday and Easter.

Winners of the winter holiday and Easter draws from 2023–2025 are not eligible to apply for 2026.

When applying, you must prioritize both your preferred cabin and the desired period.
If you are allocated a cabin, you must either confirm or cancel your booking. To cancel, please use the link provided in your confirmation email and register your cancellation. Simply not confirming your booking is not sufficient.

The cancellation deadline is 30 days before the start of the rental period to avoid a cancellation fee.

All applications must be submitted through the electronic cabin system: https://reg.app.uib.no/hytter, using your UiB username and password.
First-time applicants will be asked to provide some additional information.

To participate in the draw, all applications must be registered in the electronic cabin system.
The application form and further information about the cabins are also available on the employee pages under Employment conditions → Welfare → Cabin hire.

Application deadline: November 1
Draw dates: November 5 and 6
Winners will be notified by email.
