Time flies, and the autumn semester is already halfway through. The master’s students are well underway in the lab and with their assignments, and the first-semester students have just completed their midterm exam in MOL100 (Introduction to Molecular Biology).
There was recently a PhD defense at BIO, where Malene Skuseth Slinning presented her work on the role of the vault complex in salmon lice. In addition to her research, she has made an outstanding contribution to teaching in MOL courses.
We also continue with our weekly MOLBIO seminars. If anyone at BIO would like to give a seminar during the autumn or spring, feel free to reach out to me or Sandra Ninzima, who organizes the seminar series.
Wishing everyone a great week ahead!
