The EU-funded IRISCC project is pleased to announce the Second Open Call for Access to its research infrastructure services, running from 29 September to 28 November 2025.
Following strong international interest in the first call — which received 27 proposals from 14 countries — this call offers researchers, innovators, and industry professionals sponsored access to advanced facilities and tools across environmental, climate, and social science domains. Services include observational platforms, experimental installations, modelling tools, technical support, datasets and other services to study hazards, exposure, vulnerability, and related human and ecosystem risks.
This is a unique opportunity to collaborate internationally, accelerate interdisciplinary research, and develop evidence-based solutions for climate change adaptation, mitigation, and societal resilience.
In this project, UiB offer services at Marine Biological Station (Espegrend). The IRISCC project offers funding for access, so please spread the word in your networks!
