Hello! My name is Virginie Comorge and I am a new post-doc joining the SEAS program (shaping European Research Leaders for Marine Sustainability). I am French and I have done my PhD in molecular biology applied to plant-pathogen interactions at the University Paul Sabatier in Toulouse (France). I am very interested in the manipulation of the host immune system by a pathogen/parasite. That is why I will be working for the next 3 years on salmon louse biology and immumemodulation at the Sea Lice Research Center, supervised by Dr. Aina Øvergård and Dr. Christiane Eichner.
