Deadline for registering MSCA Doctoral Network initiatives – 16. May

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions – Doctoral Networks (MSCA-DN) is a scheme that funds PhD fellows from all over the world in European PhD education networks.

The networks, or projects, last for 4-5 years, and can fund 15 PhD candidates for up to 3 years.

The application deadline for MSCA-DN is at the end of November each year.

UIB’s central Division of Research and Innovation (FIA) provides assistance to initiatives that wish to apply for funding from MSCA-DN.

In order for FIA and the faculty to have sufficient time to mobilize support, they ask to be notified no later than June 1st.

The deadline applies to both coordinator and partner initiatives. Applicants that notify their intent to apply after this date cannot be guaranteed FIA’s support.

We therefore ask that current initiatives at BIO are sent to forskning.bio@uib.no with the following information by Friday, May 16th:

Applications with UiB as coordinating institution:

  • Project leader at BIO
  • Partner institutions
  • MSCA-DN variant: European Standard Network, European Industrial Doctorate, or European Joint Doctorate

Applications with UiB as partner institution:

  • Host institution
  • Project leader at BIO
  • Partner institutions
  • MSCA-DN variant: European Standard Network, European Industrial Doctorate, or European Joint Doctorate
