On behalf of the University Board, the IT department is working to strengthen information security at UiB. The university is responsible for keeping our data in order at all times. To contribute to this, several measures have been implemented to secure and modernize the storage solutions at UiB. One of the measures is to clean up older storage solutions.
The UiBFelles file area (N:\) has existed since the late 1990s. This area has been used to share documents and files across organizational structures. There is a need to clean up, remove outdated data, and move remaining data to more modern and collaborative solutions. The measure will be implemented during June 2025.
