During October and December 2025, we will carry out this year’s HSE inspections (vernerunder) at the Department of Biological Sciences (BIO). These inspections are an important part of our health, safety and environment (HSE) efforts, aimed at ensuring a safe and health-promoting work environment for all employees.
Before the inspection, we ask all employees to complete a short questionnaire about working conditions in offices and laboratories. The responses will help us identify areas that need attention and ensure that relevant issues are addressed during the inspection.

BIO is a large department, and we will visit all laboratories as part of the inspection. Office visits will only be conducted for those employees who indicate in the questionnaire that they wish to have their office included.
