BIO is invaded by BIO100 students on Wednesday 05. November

For the third year in a row, BIO100 has an in-depth exercise where students will squeeze the Earth’s 4.6 billion year history onto a 15 meter long piece of baking paper.

To achieve this, we need to use most of the long corridors in the A and B blocks as well as on the 3rd floor of the bio block. There are 15 groups and 15 pieces of baking paper next Wednesday from 12-14 and a little less from 14-16. We have clarified this with the department.

Both last year and the year before last, we received a lot of nice feedback from employees who thought this was fun, but we understand that some may find this too noisy. That is why we are warning now!

The one type of advice we have if the sound level is too loud is to kindly ask the students to make less noise. Our Head of Education, Anne Bjune, also reminds us that in such cases you can use a headset with noise reduction or music, or you can work from home next Wednesday.

All the best, Jarl Giske & Christian Jørgensen
