Hello everyone, my name is Marit Midtun. I am on loan from the Study Department and will be spending 50% of my time here until Christmas. My regular job is in the Learning Lab, where I am an advisor mainly working with Mitt UiB/Canvas and some other systems. At BIO I will be working on some internationalization and course administration for the Master’s in Biology. I have been with the Study Department since 2007. Before that, I studied archaeology and worked for a couple of years on various fieldwork projects. My thesis was about rock art. I have been an exchange student twice, the first time when I was 17 (Barbados – why not) and the second time as an Erasmus student in Spain. So, working at BIO is my third exchange period, you could say. I am curious about how things are done at an institute and look forward to learning new things.
