Applications for research cruises are sent on a web-based application form by logging into MFP, https://marinefacilitiesplanning.com/login.

– New users can see in the attached file how to create a user account
– Any questions about this should be sent to henrik.gullaksen.berg@hi.no
– Under “Project Title”, enter the course number for the teaching tour (e.g. GEOF337 fjord oceanography).
– Feel free to state the project acronym in the name of the trip (e.g. BIODEEP- Deep hydrothermal field 74N).
– Regarding point “Cruise Manning”, it is initially important to get the total number of instrument personnel and researchers/technicians.
The web-based voyage system makes it possible for you to write additional information about the voyage. All planned operations and use of mobile equipment, whether it belongs to HI/Shipping or others, must appear in the application.
