The mobility program north2north announces grant funds for exchange stays at north2north institutions in Canada, the USA and Europe. An updated overview of member institutions can be found on UArctic’s website. All activities applied for must be completed in the spring semester 2025.
The purpose of the call is to strengthen connections and relations between Norwegian and foreign north2north institutions and to stimulate increased student and employee mobility. Both academic and administrative staff can apply for support for exchange to north2north institutions at set rates.
Norwegian institutions that wish to invite employees from North American and Scottish n2n partners can apply for support for travel and accommodation for incoming employees. Incoming employees fill in the same application form as outgoing employees. Differentiated stipend rates are used for employee travel (see attached overview).
Employees applying for north2north support are encouraged to cooperate with the host institution on arranging exchange stays for both outgoing and incoming students. The student stay can be of both shorter and longer duration. Employee applications that contain a plan for further student exchange will be prioritized when distributing the n2n scholarships. See Employee Exchange Policy for more information.
The internal application deadline at UiB is 10 (tenth) October. Use the attached application form for employees. Ignore the deadline stated in the application form itself.
