This summer, DLN is again organizing its signature course on RRI (5 ECTS) for early career researchers – PhDs and Post-docs.
Good ideas occur everywhere at the University of Bergen, and with UiB idé students and researchers can test and develop their innovation ideas. Students can get up to NOK 100 000, and researchers NOK 500 000.

Dear All,
Previously, I met the Fisheries and Marine Biology group. It is important for me to get clear input on concrete challenges that result from our economic situation. For my own part, it was an important input to include, especially regarding staffing on the teaching side.
UiB follows the recommendations of the Norwegian National Security Authority (NSM) with regard to the use of TikTok and Telegram, and advises against installing these applications on work devices. “Work devices” here means mobile phones, tablets or computers paid for by the employer.
These guidelines apply to alcohol use and serving of alcohol at the University of Bergen.

We at Helix are responsible for the social and academic events for the molecular biology students. We also collaborate with the program board and the department to be a link between the students and the university.

We at Helix, the Molecular Biology Student Council, arrange a career day every semester. For the spring semester, the career day was held together with Nukleus on 9 March at the Eitri Medical Incubator in Haukeland, there was a good turnout of students and there were about 90 of us.

This year’s MNT-konferansen “Utdanning for fremtidens arbeidsliv” took place in Stavanger, Hotel Radisson Blu Atlantic on March 16th-17th. bioCEED contributed with posters, articles and corresponding presentations. It has been decided to introduce parking controls for the area between the buildings. This area has until now been a “free zone”, which has resulted in a lot of unauthorized parking.
