Do you have an innovative idea you wish to develop further? The University of Bergen offers support for early-stage innovation projects through UiB Idé. The next application deadline is 14 February 2025.
Early-stage innovation projects should have the potential to address a need or contribute to societal benefit, have the potential for value creation, and the potential for scalability/becoming available to specific users or society as a whole. Projects can come from any academic discipline.
How much can you apply for?
- Research projects (including PhD and postdoctoral projects): Up to NOK 500,000. Applications must adhere to BIO’s guidelines for applications for external funding.
- Student projects: Up to NOK 100,000
