- Paid leave of absence in relation to kindergarten or school planning days (“planleggingsdager”)
- Extra days off during Christmas

One important change is that up to 2 days of leave may be granted related to kindergarten or school’s “planleggingsdager” (until the year in which the child turns 12). The 2 day limit is independent on the number of children in the family.

Change: As far as the service allows, Christmas Eve and New Years eve are considered days off. In addition, all staff may take one day off between December 24 and 31.
