Kelp Epiphytes are organisms which grow on kelp and seaweed, and are abundant throughout the Norwegian coast. Ph.D. candidate Angeliki Barouti from Department of Chemistry will talk about how biacotive compounds found in these organism may be relevant for human health and may in turn provide an abundance of plants into valuable resources!
The event will last about 30-45 minutes: Coffee and cookies will be served. Everyone is welcome! The talk will be given in English! Note: This talk will start 1 hour earlier than normal (13:15, not 14:15)
