Another HSE non-conformity has been registered at BIO due to inadequate closure of yellow waste boxes (problematic waste). Two boxes have been placed in the waste room in T55 with gloves and other waste visibly sticking out.
This is not acceptable, even the waste operator refused to take the waste for incineration.
The waste boxes should always be closed completely; to achieve this you must use some force to get the lid on properly. If this happens again, you will be required to sign the waste boxes with your name. A possible last resort would be to replace the lock on the door.
Please note that there are several users of this waste room, so the boxes in question are not necessarily from BIO.
