We have today launched updated employee pages with an associated page for searching/filtering.
See the new pages here: https://w4.uib.no/en/find-employees
About the new employee pages
- Basically a technical upgrade (from Drupal 7 to 10)
- New entry page (Find Employees) with improved search capabilities and result display.
- New employee pages have a new visual look, improved content structure and adapted universal design
- Improved display of publications
- Employees will experience easier editing
- The content of the current employee pages will be migrated to new ones
- Information about employees will still be obtained from DFØ and UiB access
- Publications will continue to be obtained from CRIStin
- A new “Short info” field to summarize what you are working on or researching
- Discontinued elements are fields of expertise, CV, business cards and documents
We encourage everyone to take the opportunity to upgrade their employee page. All staff are personally responsible for keeping their own page updated.
How to log in to your own employee page
- Find your employee page at uib.no/finn-ansatte/fornavn.etternavn and click on the “Edit” link that appears in the top right corner. Or:
- Go to profile.uib.no and log in with Feide
- Check that the content is up to date and well written.
More about how to update the page can be found in the Web manual that describes the solution for the employee pages. In the transition to new pages, the solution may be unstable, and errors may occur in the display.
