Fakultet for naturvitenskap og teknologi og Pedagogisk akademi ønsker velkommen til årets underviserseminar 5. mars. På underviserseminaret er målet å tilrettelegge for gode samtaler og diskusjoner mellom underviserne, samt å løfte aktuelle tema og perspektiver viktige for NTs utdanning, undervisere og studenter. I år følger vi opp to viktige tema: KI i undervisning og læring og UiBs fokus på Førsteårsstudenten.
Seminaret varer fra 08:30-15:00 og har et variert program med plenumsforedrag, panelsamtale, rundebords-diskusjoner og workshop, samt en postersesjon. Tor Ole Odden fra UiO holder plenumsforedrag og workshop om KI og undervisning, vi skal lære mer om noen av NTs store førsteårs-emner som inngår i NTs studieprogram og fakultetets utdanningsfokuserte PhD-studenter (m.fl) viser fram sin forskning i postersesjonen. Rundebords-diskusjonene dekker et bredt spekter av tema fra f.eks. 3D-modeller og caseoppgaver til hvordan NT mottar og tar vare på sine førsteårsstudenter.
Som alltid på underviserseminaret vil fokus være på å lære av, diskutere med, og bli inspirert av kollegaer på NT! Velkommen til seminar!

Invitation to the NT Teachers’ retreat, 5 March 2026

The Faculty of Science and Technology and the Pedagogical Academy welcome you to this year’s teaching seminar on 5 March. The goal of the seminar is to facilitate good conversations and discussions among teachers, as well as to highlight relevant topics and perspectives important for NT’s education, teaching staff, and students. This year we follow up on two important themes: AI in teaching and learning, and UiB’s focus on the First-Year Student.
The seminar runs from 08:30 to 15:00 and includes a varied program with keynote lectures, a panel discussion, roundtable sessions, a workshop, and a poster session. Tor Ole Odden from UiO will give the keynote lecture and lead a workshop on AI and teaching. We will also learn more about some of NT’s first-year courses included in NT study programs, and the faculty’s education-focused PhD candidates (and others) will present their research in the poster session. The roundtable discussions cover a wide range of topics, from e.g. 3D models and case assignments to how NT welcomes and supports its first-year students.
As always at NT’s teaching seminar, the focus will be on learning from, discussing with, and being inspired by colleagues at NT! Welcome to the seminar!
