Hi, I’m Kaavya, a new PhD student at UiB. I’m a bioinformatician who willingly chose microbial ecology, which means I now spend my days decoding what viruses are plotting in the Arctic Ocean.
I work with Prof. Ruth-Anne Sandaa who’s an expert in ocean algae and their viral frenemies and I’m turning expedition data into stories about microscopic drama in very cold water.
