
Last week, I was invited to join a government-led delegation to Copenhagen. The visit focused on Denmark’s extensive investment in quantum technology and the broader Danish “quantum landscape”. It was led by our Minister and included participants from several ministries, industry, the institute sector and three academic representatives (NTNU, the University of Oslo and the University of Bergen). Many thanks to my colleagues for helping me with my presentation – particularly Justas and Konrad!
We are getting closer to the deadline (April 15th) for applying to study at our faculty from August this year. We need all the help we can get to promote our study programs! The most important message is to convey what the programs offer, highlight our vibrant student community, and so on. But it’s also important to be aware that, in a recent survey, 48 percent of prospective students said they find it difficult to locate information about the labour market and future job opportunities: Jobbsikkerhet viktigst når unge velger utdanning – regjeringen.no
