Dean’s brief week 12

·  This year’s student recruitment campaign is moving full steam ahead. Last week, we added parents as a target group on social media, and this Monday we activated the final push toward our primary audience: young adults considering higher education. As we head into the Easter holidays, we know many families discuss education choices at home, even more than usual, so it’s important for us to be present wherever we can. You may also have noticed that our student ambassadors are now active on Instagram every day, with an increased focus on answering typical questions young people have about studies and career opportunities.

·  Thursday was the REALISER Career Day at the Faculty of Natural Sciences. The event offers a unique opportunity for both companies and students to make valuable connections and explore new possibilities. Students get to meet employers from a wide range of industries — and maybe even discover a summer job, an internship, or a full-time position for after their studies. Companies, in turn, get to meet our talented students from all programmes at the faculty.

·  I also want to highlight my colleague Bodil Holst and Lace Lithography — this is truly a moment to take your hat off: Bergensgründere henter inn 400 millioner kroner.

·  Wishing you all a Happy Easter Holiday!
