We are pleased to announce that the Nordic Algae Symposium 2026 will be held on October 14-15 in Bergen, Norway. This conference aims to bring together researchers, professionals, and experts in the field of algae physiology and biotechnology to share their knowledge, insights, and advancements. We’ll have lots of interesting presentations about microalgae, macroalgae, up- and downstream processing, strain improvement, photobioreactors, circular bioeconomy, and more! A panel debate with industry members, and as cherry on the cake, two site visits to experience seaweed or microalgae production in 3D!

Moreover, we take this opportunity to celebrate the upcoming 10th anniversary of the National Algaepilot Mongstad during the site visit on the 15th of October.
