UiB Ocean seeks to stimulate marine collaboration, both within UiB and with marine actors in the region. Do you need support for an ocean-related activity that will promote such collaboration?
- It is now possible to apply for strategic funding from UiB Ocean.
- The main application deadline is 16 March 2026.
- Maximum support amount is 50 000 NOK.
- Individual research expenses or travel support to conferences etc. will not be provided.
The focus of UiB Ocean in 2026 is on ‘the Polar oceans’ and applications related to this topic are especially welcomed. The same applies to applications that aim to prepare interdisciplinary grant proposals to e.g. the Research Council of Norway or Horizon Europe.
