Anita Løtvedt and I (Francesco Saltalamacchia, both PhD students at BIO) were editors, together with Prof Gunilla Øberg and a PhD student from the Maths department (Ingrid Jacobsen), on a book recently published by World Scientific.
The book is a collection of essays by PhD students in mathematics and the sciences at UiB, based on the work we’ve done for the mandatory MNF990 course.
Together with Kamilla Stølen at SVT, we have organised a book launch event at Realfagbygget on the 17th of March, where MatNat experts in the field, and students, will have the opportunity to discuss the book and its topics.
