Dear fellow ocean enthusiasts at UiB,
It was great to see many of you during One Ocean Week and we are already planning ahead. On 1-3 September, UiB hosts the biannual CommOCEAN conference, taking place for the 7th time this year. We expect around 150 attendees.
CommOCEAN is a meeting ground to discuss ocean science communications and is organised by UiB and the Norwegian Marine University Consortium in partnership with the European Marine Board’s Communication Panel.
There now is a call for abstracts out, with a deadline Monday 4 May at midnight. We already have more than 50 proposals and welcome all proposals to share ocean science communications experiences with like-minded people.
