The Plastic Network at UiB and collaborators will this fall organize the 5th microplastic symposium on November 20th.
The title for the meeting is “Emerging Microplastics: Sources, Pathways, and Analytical Challenges”. The meeting will cover a variety of topics, such as temporal trends in plastic pollution, emerging microplastic sources, environmental transportation, current analytical limitations, and more.

Who should attend: This symposium is designed for researchers, environmental scientists, policy makers, and anyone interested in understanding the growing concern over microplastics and their implications for human and environmental health.
The meeting is free to attend, and lunch will be served.
