My name is Anita Rønneseth and I started in the position as Associate Professor in the Fish Immunology group, part of the fish health group, late spring 2022.
I am an Aquamedicine biologist with a PhD degree within fish immunology. I have been teaching the Fish immunology course at BIO since 2019. I have research experience from a wide variety of projects within the field of fish diseases and immunology. I also did my post doc period at the department where I focused on bacterial pathogens and vaccines for the cleanerfish lumpfish. Following that my research has focused on immunogenic targets for vaccines and immune responses mainly towards bacterial pathogens in farmed fish.
