News from the BIO Early Career Researcher Community!

After the success of our two parties last semester, we are excited to keep the momentum going with more events and activities organized by the newly formed BIO Early Career Researcher Community, welcoming PhDs, Postdocs, Forkers, Technicians and all who would like to be involved. The  leadership team (see below) aims to create a space for early career researchers across all BIO groups to connect, share experiences and challenges, and, of course, have fun together.

We are planning a mix of events including monthly food get togethers, parties, and workshops on various topics that touch on the challenges and opportunities we face as early career researchers. Additionally, we are organizing a short getaway this upcoming spring.

If you’re interested in joining our committee or want to learn more about our activities, please feel free to reach out to any of us.

Don’t miss our first Pizza Evening of the semester on March 7th at 17:00 in Tunet. This is a great opportunity to get to know other ECR from BIO and enjoy some pizza and drinks together. The link will follow next week.

Are you not yet in the TEAMS group of the BIO Early Career Researcher Community but would like to be? Just let one of us know! Are you interested in joining the organization of the events? Just let one of us know!

We look forward to seeing you there and shaping the future of the BIO Early Career Researcher Community together!

Cheers,

Christian Quintana (Phd), Maaike Zwier (PhD), Susanne Berthelsen (technician), Hedda Ørbæk (PhD), Suzette Flantua (forsker), Nina Hølland (Admin), Lotta Schultz (PhD).
