Hi everyone! My name is Nadine Arzt, and I recently joined the Department of Biological Science and the Between the Fjords group as a new PhD student. Originally, I’m from Germany and just completed my master’s degree in Biodiversity and Ecology, specializing in alpine plant ecology.
During the next few years, I will be working in the RangeX project, which is very exciting. The focus is on investigating the range shifts of plant species in mountainous regions in response to climate warming. To achieve this, we will be conducting field experiments involving the translocation of lowland species to higher elevations. Vigdis Vandvik will be my main supervisor.
I am looking forward to meeting you.
