Hi, I’m Lin! I’m so excited to be here and to meet all of you. I’m from China, and this is my first time in Bergen. There’s certainly a lot of rain here—but just as abundant is the warmth and kindness of the people!
I started my PhD in early March 2025 under the supervision of Evgeny Onischenko in the Molecular Biology grouop. My research broadly focuses on understanding how mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation system (OXPHOS) maintains balance and function over time, particularly in relation to protein aging. I’m especially interested in how biological systems regulate these processes and what happens when this balance is disrupted.
I’m really looking forward to this journey—learning, sharing, and growing together with all of you!
