If you do not have a registered partner, parents or children living in Norway, your relatives will not be automatically informed if you are hospitalized, nor get any information when contacting the hospital.
If your next of kin, or at least some of your closest family live outside Norway, it is crucial that you register them as your next of kins in the Helse Norge portal. This will become part of our onboarding procedure, but if you are already onboard, please log in and register your next of kin and provide information on how they can be contacted under your contact details on Helsenorge
